CChicago hosted the 40 year anniversary of the infamous McDonald’s All American games. With 2017 being one of the more impressive classes, I had to check out the games for the first time. I’ve been following a lot of these guys their entire high school careers so it was exciting to see how far they have come! With jaw dropping highlights from the West and East teams, the game was non stop excitement. The West won the game, with Michael Porter Jr. winning the MVP. Check out the photos from the game!
IIsaiah Austin has had one of the most interesting journeys to playing pro basketball. From a retina tear in middle school that ultimately left him blind in his right eye, to being the #3 High School player in the nation, to a shoulder injury after his freshman year to being diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome just says before the 2014 NBA Draft.
It’s been a little over two years since that diagnosis that has kept him from playing professional sports. After close monitoring, his doctor has cleared him to play the game he loves once again.
Isaiah is breaking this news exclusively with Cassy Athena and Thru The Lens!
