Don Benjamin hosts Celebrity Basketball Game

BBasketball is a year round game. Even with the NBA season ends, the summer brings just as much action. With the summer officially over, there are many basketball lovers that keep the games going. Supermodel Don Benjamin hosted his second annual celebrity basketball game in Los Angeles, CA. The game featured street ball legends Bone Collector and Sik Wit It, Harlem Globe Trotters Tammy Brawner and Chris Staples, actors Malcolm D Kelley, Najee De-Tiege and many more! There was a team of celebrities that went up against a team of high school players. The score was really close and went down to the wire – with seconds left on the clock and the score tied, the High School team brought the ball down and hit a winning 3-point shot at the buzzer to win the game! It was a great atmosphere and a fun time! Chris Paul Serves Dinner for Charity

LLos Angeles Clipper Chris Paul hosted a diner in Beverly Hills to raise money for his foundation “CP3 Foundation”. The dinner was open to anyone who wanted to donate the big price for the donation – but it was very well worth it! The servers for the night were a celebrity cast that included everyone from Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Chris Paul, Baron Davis, Justin Turner and more. Check out some of the red carpet pictures below!

Late Night Studio Session with Trevor Jackson

LLast night I headed over to Atlantic Studios to check out their artist Trevor Jackson. He is known for everything from his broadway performances with the Lion King to his Disney Channel roles. He has made the transition to a music artist and he is beyond talented! I had a great time hanging out with him and his brother Iyn Jay. They have some great music coming soon. Check out some of the behind-the-scenes action that went on

Sacramento State defeats CSUN – Men’s Soccer

OOver the summer I met a few friends that are very into soccer – so they’ve been trying their best to get me to come out to some games and become a fan. My friend Chimdum Mez (aka Chimi) is a player for Sacramento State. They had a game here at Cal State Northridge so I went to check it out with my camera. I was up in the stands but overall I had a fun time! Chimi did great, scoring the goal that ultimately won the game! I wish them the best of luck in the season – I might have to check out some more games!

Marcus Williams leads Serbia’s Crvena Zvezda

II recently had the opportunity to travel to Europe. Serbia, former Yugoslavia, is home to some of the best basketball talent in the world. They have more medals than any other country in basketball. While visiting the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, I checked out the roster, only to find out Marcus Williams was a starter for Crvena Zvezda (Red Star).

Zvezda is one of the top teams in Europe, also competing in the Euro League. I got an opportunity to not only check out my first Euro League team, but also sit court side as a photographer and take pictures! The atmosphere was nothing like any game I have experienced here in the USA. The entire crowd was into the game – cheering, screaming and singing songs. I had a great time experiencing basketball in a new culture and I’m looking forward to coming back!
